Terence Tang

Terence Tang is VP of Client Strategy at Intech Pacific, where he leads CMMC consulting, managed CMMC, and CMMC enclave work for defense contractors across Hawaii and Guam.

As of October 2026, Intech Pacific is the only CMMC Level 2 certified MSP in Hawaii and Guam and has taken more organizations through the C3PAO certification process than every other provider in Hawaii and Guam combined. The firm staffs multiple CMMC Certified Assessors (CCAs). Terence built and leads that practice.

He is a Lead CMMC Certified Assessor (LCCA), the designation held by professionals authorized to lead official CMMC Level 2 assessments, and he holds the CISSP, CISM, and Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert certifications. That combination is the point. Most providers treat CMMC as a paperwork exercise handed off to a consultant, separate from the people who actually run the environment. Terence works it as one discipline, because that is how it gets assessed. A requirement is met or missed by how the tenant is configured, how identity is governed, how CUI is contained, and whether the evidence holds up when an assessor asks for it.

He has participated in over 100 CMMC gap and C3PAO assessments, which means he has seen both sides of the table: what a company believes it has implemented, and what an assessor accepts as evidence. Over more than 25 years in managed services he has worked with hundreds of clients in highly regulated industries, experience that shaped how he scopes CMMC work today.

His approach is consultative and security-first. He scopes before quoting, and he tells clients plainly whether an enclave or an enterprise-wide boundary is the better decision for their environment and their defense revenue. He is equally direct about what certification depends on. Assessment outcomes rest on a company's environment, scope, evidence, and its assessor, and he says so at the start of an engagement rather than at the end.

Intech Pacific provides CMMC readiness, implementation, and managed compliance services. Certification assessments are conducted independently by an accredited C3PAO.
