Intech Pacific Assists PacMar Technologies in Achieving CMMC Level 2 Certification
"Bringing Intech Hawaii on board 12 months ago was the turning point in our CMMC journey,” said Mitchel Kagawa. “We needed a partner who truly understood the DoD landscape and could translate complex NIST requirements into actionable technical solutions. Intech’s local presence and 'Security-First' approach gave us the confidence and the infrastructure we needed to successfully navigate the C3PAO assessment with CG Silvers Consulting."

FAQ
What is CMMC Sentry, and who is it best for?
CMMC Sentry is a co-managed service where Intech Pacific augments your IT team with both a compliant cybersecurity tool stack and outsourced CMMC compliance leadership. Our CMMC Certified Professionals (CCPs) and CMMC Certified Assessors (CCAs) guide the entire process while we manage the security tools alongside your staff. It's best for defense contractors who need to add both enterprise-grade security tools and certified CMMC leadership to their internal IT — driving implementation, documentation, and C3PAO assessment preparation while your team continues executing day-to-day technical work.
How is CMMC Sentry different from Overwatch, Command, and the CMMC Enclave?
Each model matches a different level of internal IT capability. Overwatch provides certified compliance leadership and assessment prep while you use your existing technology stack. Sentry adds a complete, managed cybersecurity tool stack in a co-managed model where we deploy and manage security tools alongside your IT staff. Command is fully managed for organizations with little or no internal IT — we own IT operations, security tooling, compliance, and evidence readiness through certification. The CMMC Enclave is a secure, isolated Azure GCC environment for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) that reduces assessment scope and can pair with any of the three.
Does CMMC Sentry replace our internal IT team, and will you help define our CUI scope?
No — Sentry is designed to augment your organization, not replace it. We bring the security tools and compliance leadership and work collaboratively with your existing IT staff, who continue managing daily technical operations and user support. Sentry also includes CUI discovery guidance and boundary validation, so you understand exactly which systems the new security tools must protect — a determination that directly impacts your assessment complexity.
What does Sentry include for documentation, tool training, and evidence?
Because we deploy and manage the security stack, we can directly help build and update your System Security Plan (SSP) and POA&M to accurately reflect the compliant configurations we set up together. As a co-managed model, we also work directly with your team so they understand how the security stack operates and how it fulfills CMMC requirements. And since we manage the tools with you, we can pull system logs, configuration reports, and artifacts directly — organizing this evidence to map cleanly to specific CMMC requirements.
What does a typical engagement look like, and do you support the C3PAO assessment?
Engagements begin with scoping and boundary definition, followed by deploying the cybersecurity stack. We then coordinate with your internal stakeholders to implement controls, build documentation, and continuously monitor the environment until you're assessment-ready. Throughout the C3PAO certification process, we stand by your side to help present the security tools, respond to assessor questions, and address any issues that arise during the assessment window.
